The Cadillac Escalade 2021 is full of technology
February 21 2020,
Taking advantage of a major overhaul and the addition of new features of comfort, convenience and luxury, the 2021 Cadillac Escalade is entering its fifth generation more refined and better equipped than ever.
If the 6.2-litre V8 engine is largely unchanged, producing 420 horsepower and 460 pound-feet of torque, a new 3.0-litre six-cylinder turbodiesel engine is now available as an option, unpacking 277 horsepower and as much torque as the V8. A 10-speed automatic transmission and a four-wheel drive system are also part of the equipment list.
More modern, the new 2021 Cadillac Escalade platform and its air suspension enhance comfort on the road, while the independent rear suspension and magnetorheological shock absorbers allow more dynamic handling.
In addition to the base Luxury version, the Escalade offers a Sport version with a sharper character and a more sumptuous Premium Luxury variant. In addition, the Platinum variant displays unique elements, both inside and outside.
For the first time, the Cadillac Escalade offers soft-closing doors and is the first production vehicle to offer AKG brand audio systems, including the powerful optional surround system, using no less than 36 speakers. In addition, the 38-inch curved LED display, including driver instrumentation and multimedia system, is a first in the automotive industry.
The 2021 Cadillac Escalade will arrive at dealerships in the late summer of 2020.
